Sorry I'm a slacker, but YEAH for summer slack days! Dan's off work until the end of August, the kids are getting cute little farmer's tans, Felix is ruining our reputation with the neighbors as he barks gleefully, and my birthday money is about to buy me some new summer clothes. It's gonna be a scorcher today, so I'm told. But life is good. Here's some videos from a few weeks ago(slacker) when we got a play structure from one of Dan's co-workers. Thanks Jimmy Joe. (His name is Joe but Jake kept calling him Jimmy for some unknown reason. Probably because it doesn't really matter what we say, he's always right.) Anyway, I'm pretty sure Ty will earn his first trip to the ER because of this, but it sure is fun.

Are you feeling the passion?

OUCH

T-Y-L-E-R. Know what that spells?

Tough.

He was wrestling with Dad and brother while I was at work, hit his head, and cried for approximately 3 seconds before wanting to continue wrestling.

I cried for longer than that just looking at the picture.

It ain't easy...

...bein' cheesy.

We're getting a little more settled into our new house. Now it's back to the daily grind of trying to keep my kids out of the dryer. I was trying to get them to smile at the same time, and this was the result. To coax a grin out of Ty we have to ask him to show us his teeth. Sometimes there's a good result, but mostly there's a cheesy result. Actually, most times there's a frightening result. The dryer picture is more scary than cheesy, but it got me thinking about all the other cheesy pictures we have of our normally beautiful children. View at your own risk.

And finally, my personal favorite, and The Most Disturbing Cheesy Picture June 2008:
This cheese, most definitely, stands alone.
